Timeless Echoes: Chopin and the Voice of Polish Cinema/Solo Piano Recital at FUGA/ 7.11.2025

The MiraTone audience was in for a truly special experience with “Timeless Echoes: Chopin and the Voice of Polish Cinema” — a concert that beautifully intertwined the elegance of Polish classical tradition with the emotional depth of film music. 🇵🇱✨

Pianist Paweł Kowalski, one of Poland’s most versatile and expressive artists, took us on a moving journey through the world of Fryderyk Chopin, Ignacy Jan Paderewski, and iconic Polish film composers Wojciech Kilar and Krzysztof Komeda. From the brilliance of the “Minute Waltz” to the sweeping drama of the G minor Ballade, and a newly discovered A minor Waltz found in 2024 at the Morgan Library in New York — every note told a story. 💫

A heartfelt thank-you to the Polish Institute and the Felczak Foundation for their invaluable partnership in making this unforgettable recital possible. 💜
